Terms of use
Effective October 20, 2026.
ComicDuo is published by Fabio Maraschi (FJM Systems LLC), 51 Pleasant St #913, Malden, MA 02148. Your license to use the app is Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add the points specific to ComicDuo. If the two conflict, Apple’s agreement controls.
The app
ComicDuo reads comic and manga files you supply. It is not a store of other publishers’ catalogs, and it does not fetch comic pages from addresses you did not choose. Version 1.0 is offered on the United States App Store.
Your files and servers
You are responsible for having the right to read the files you open and the servers you connect. ComicDuo does not check, host, or share those files.
Starter shelf
Comics ComicDuo offers for download are listed with their license. Pepper&Carrot is published by David Revoy under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The credit is: “Pepper&Carrot by David Revoy, CC BY 4.0, www.peppercarrot.com.” Translator credits travel with translated episodes. You may share and adapt that work under CC BY 4.0, including commercially, if you keep the attribution. David Revoy asks that the work not be used for NFTs or to train AI models. ComicDuo honors that request and asks you to as well. It is a request from the author, not an extra legal limit on the CC BY 4.0 license.
Trial and ComicDuo Pro
You can open five of your own books before buying ComicDuo Pro. Books on the starter shelf do not count. The purchase is a one-time non-consumable, product com.comicduo.pro, with Family Sharing. The launch price is $4.99 in the United States. That price can rise to $6.99 after the first 1,000 sales or 60 days, whichever comes first. The launch price is not a promise that the price stays at $4.99. Books you already opened stay readable if the trial ends. Apple processes payments and refunds; request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Warranty
The app is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, ComicDuo is not liable for loss of files, progress, or profits. Some places do not allow these limits, and in those places the limits apply only as far as the law allows.
Removing shelf items
If a rights holder shows that a starter-shelf file should come down, ComicDuo removes it from the content manifest. Installed copies hide it on the next refresh. Contact the designated agent on the DMCA page. The notice process is on that page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. The price of a purchase you already made does not change.
